Literature and Nation Building 2025 Annual Conference

Aim:
This conference aims to explore the intricate relationship between literature and nation-building by examining how various social institutions are influenced by literature across a broad spectrum of genres. Through insightful scholarly presentations, the event seeks to foster a profound sense of Islamic belonging that is deeply rooted in Islamic identity. This identity draws upon the rich legacy of Islamic history, theology, and legal traditions. The discussions will highlight how literature—whether political, social, or legal—can play a pivotal role in constructing an Ummatic Muslim identity. By analyzing the impact of diverse literary genres on shaping collective consciousness, the conference aspires to inspire Muslims to strengthen their connection to Islam and collaborate toward cultivating a unified global Muslim identity.
